Brittany and Michael’s Wedding Four Seasons Hotel Beverly Hills
“All You Need Is Love”! Brittany and Michael proved to me that this is really so true!
Brittany and Michael make a beautiful couple and they both were so much fun to work with. Brittany is a successful interior designer in Texas and so she has a great eye for style. We had fun designing her beautiful wedding together.
Brittany looked beautiful at the rehearsal practice wearing a dress that Michael’s Grandmother once wore, Brittany looked like an angel in white. My Texas couple met and fell in love at SMU and now will start their lives together as Husband and Wife.
The Bridesmaids and House Party girls posed for the cutest photo, wearing white t-shirts that read, “Team Brittany”, right before they got dressed in their Bridesmaids dresses. It was a BIG, Team! I was told that everything is BIG in Texas! There were 12 Bridesmaids and 5 House Party girls, which is a tradition in Texas. All 17 girls were gorgeous and so much fun to work with from Hair and Make Up to great, big hugs in the early morning hours. There were 12 guys in the Wedding Party and they were dapper and witty and such a nice group of guys. This Wedding Party was the best and they sure knew how to have a good time!
The couple exchanged wedding gifts with one another with their Wedding Party surrounding them as they opened them .
The Bride was so very thoughtful and had handkerchiefs made for her Mother, Father, Grandmother and the Groom’s Mother. These were just beautitful.
Nisie’s Enchanted Florist as always-fabulous! The flowers were romantic and beautiful and they were such happy, full flowers. The aisle was lined with white washed floral boxes with the prettiest, fullest, white hydrangeas. These boxes were later moved to the reception and placed around the band stage. It was just the touch that the Ballroom needed to bring the garden into it.
The Ceremony in the Wetherly Garden was romantic and dreamy. Brittany recited her personal vows and let us know that she, in fact, had put a face on the man in a white tux straight from her dreams. As Brittany finished her personal vows, Opera Singers emerged from within the wedding guests and began to sing, “The Prayer” in both English and in Italian”. Being that the Groom, Michael, is Italian, the Bride wanted to surprise him with this song to honor their love and his Italian family. It was a beautiful surprise and the Groom loved it.
Naples Chamber Ensemble played beautifully for the ceremony. At the end of the Ceremony, they played the musical selection, “All You Need Is Love”, by the Beatles as the Bride and Groom, their Wedding Party and Family recessed back down the aisle. It was Champagne for all and the Parry officially started! …AND what a Party it was!
The Wedding Cake was grand and gorgeous. 5 layers of GORGEOUS!
The 11 piece Band, Side Effect, courtesy of West Coast Music was amazing, per usual. What a breath of fresh air they are. They just rocked the house all night and the dance floor was always packed. I have to be honest that I had a little rythem in my steps as I worked in the Ballroom that evening. You just could not help it, this Band is amazing!
Great Dane Baking Company knocked it out of the park with a Groom’s Cake that was a HUGE crawfish boil bucket. The Cake was awesome, but not only did the cake look great, it tasted great, too. The Groom’s Cake was Chocolate-Peanut Butter and YUM is the only word I can think of to say. The Groom loved his cake from the Bride.
We wrote the Drink Menu of (8) personalized drink names on HUGE, beautiful vintage mirrors from Brittany’s Father’s store and the guests loved it.
The DJ, Bobby, from Carcano DJ did a great job with the tribute to Michael Jackson portion of the evening. Yep! White gloves, hats and glasses were handed out to the Wedding guests and for 30 minutes it was solid MJ! Everyone was in on this and out on the dance floor sporting their white glove, even the Groom’s Grandmother, who is quite a dancer! The Band played, “Rock Around the Clock” as the servers tray passed some delicious, late night snacks to all the guests.
At the stroke of midnight, we lead all the guests outside and lined them up in front drive of the hotel so that Brittany and Michael could have a great send off in a “sweet” Old Fashioned, Yellow Woody. (Another surprise for the Groom from the Bride) He loved it! It was a great night!
Congratulations Brittany and Michael! I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness! You are such a beautiful couple and I have enjoyed working with you both so much. Thank you to you both for allowing me to be a part of such a special day in your lives and thank you to your HUGE group of Family and Friends! Each and every one of them was wonderful to me and to my team. They were all such a pleasure to work with it is was such a wonderful day. When I left the Four Seasons Hotel in the early morning hours and hugged everyone, it thankfully was not goodbye. It was more like, “See You All in March!”. I am also working with Brittany’s Brother, Ryan and his lovely fiance, Amanda, on their upcoming wedding in March 2013. I love you guys! I can’t wait to see everyone again for another happy celebration of love. After all, “All You Need Is Love” to have a great Celebration with Family and Friends! Perhaps Brittany and Michael will have news to share by then..hmmmm….hint, hint, no pressure guys! You are going to have such beautiful children-just sayin’ and Brittany is it 3 or 5? 🙂
