Ava’s Kindergarten Graduation! I am such a Proud Mommy!
My Daughter, Ava, graduates from Kindergarten! My, how time flies! My Sweet Girl! I am so proud of you! Yep, I cried. I sure did…AND for a split second I saw her in a High School Graduation cap and gown! AHHHH! Yikes!
My Parents sent Ava a card with $20.00 in it for her Kindergarten Graduation and I asked Ava what she wanted to do with this money. She told me that she wanted to donate it to a special fund at her school in honor of a little girl who was in the sixth grade, who had passed away. She told me how sad she was for the little girl’s family and that she wanted to help them. I cried! I was so proud of her. Ava said it with such passion!
Then, she asked how much Tutti Fruitti frozen yogurt and how many activity books and DVD’s she could buy with the rest? The rest? I need to explain to her how this works a bit more:) She then asked if everything costs $1.00 in life? I told her “NO, Ava, unfortunately, NO” : ) I think it is time I take her to the bank and open a savings account for her to keep up and manage.
Follow Your Dreams My Sweet Girl! You Can Do Anything! Anything! …
But Be Happy! 😉
