I am from Connecticut and my family still lives there. I am also a Mother and like everyone who is a Parent or not, the horrific and tragic  event in Newtown, CT broke my heart.

My friend, Ashley, posted this story on Facebook and it touched me so much. I am in for MY 26 Acts of Kindness and when we have carried out all 26 Acts, then I say that we need to start all over again!!!

MY FRIEND’S PHOTO IS BELOW AND HER FACEBOOK POST READ: I walked into a Starbucks in Boston today and someone came up to me and handed me this gift card, saying “Happy Holidays.” I opened it and it read:

In honor of the victims of Sandy Hook, I offer you this random act of kindness in hopes of bringing a smile to your face this holiday season. You are Act #1, in honor of Charlotte Bacon, 6 years old.

I cried right there in the middle of Starbucks. Thank you for this act. God Bless and Merry Christmas.
